This is a traditional bento lunch box, 5 piece set from Japan.

Bento is a Japanese to-go food that is put in a container to carry around easily.  The container is so called bento box, or in english, lunch box. The food is usually packed in portion nicely to hold each different kind of food separately.  Simply speaking, bento is lunch in a box.  In Japan, bento usually includes rice, meat, and side dishes, for example, vegetable, or pickle.  The bento box is usually in rectangle-style box, and covered by see-through plastic lid to show the content of the bento.  This is very common and can be found at every train station or supermarket.  

 The Bento box has three tiers. The bottom tier holds 210 ml, the second tier holds 300 ml (about 1.5 bowls of rice) and the top tier is for chopsticks, or a fork (sold separately). The Bento Box is microwave safe without lids. The Bento box is 6.20 inches long, 3.5 inches high and 2.5 inches wide. 

This bento lunch box is a 5 piece box. 2 containers for food, 2 white inner lids, and 1 clear outer lid with animal design.
